Hi! Sarah here! A little back story for you… I’m originally from Ireland, and moved to Vancouver in 2018. I stumbled across clay a year later while searching for a creative outlet. Pottery was something I always wanted to try so I finally bit the bullet and signed up for some classes! I was quickly hooked and departed a career in ocean conservation to pursue my newfound passion full time. I packed my bags and moved to the little town of Ladysmith on Vancouver Island to embark on a two-year apprenticeship with Mary Fox as part of her Legacy Project.

I graduated from the apprenticeship program at the end of 2023 and have since opened my own studio in Ladysmith. My work is primarily focused on functional work at the moment but who knows what the future holds and what direction my work will take!
